My fascination with photography began at the early age of 6 when my grandfather purchased a Kodak Instamatic 100 at a nearby garage sale, loaded it with film, and handed it to me saying, "Have fun." Not understanding parallax error and being rather short resulted in a collection of images with everyone's heads being cut off. But I still had a blast. My grandmother later gave me a subscription to National Geographic magazine. The photos and the destinations they depicted amazed me and infused a desire to experience these places for myself.
I completed my degree in photography at Texas A&M Commerce in 2003 and have been working in the field ever since.
